CONCORDE MICROSITE

As lead Site Builder and prototype developer, I spent 170 hours prototyping, programming, building, testing and deploying what became the celebrated Concorde Microsite. The site won an ADDY Award from the American Advertising Federation for it’s Excellence in New Media in 1999. E-COMMERCE PLATFORM II

An extensive project involving an extended team. Initial production contributing 100 hours to BA’s mission-critical revenue driver in template creation. Developed client-side solutions to run on the Lotus Notes R5 system, prepared e-presentations for client review and managed files on the dev server.

The Corporate Card required some of the most intricate table coding. 40 hours on circa 15-30 page impressions. Planned, prototyped and built the corporate card section using HTML and Javascript. Coded forms and customized CGI scripts. Quality assured and deployed site.

Site building, transposing of 3rd-party work, quality assurance testing and maintenance of one of the largest subsections of the British Airways website. Maintenance of 50 – 200 page impressions over 7 months.

10 hours on third-party design and 50 hours on in-house redesign. Tasks include transposition of 3rd-party development work, BA branding standards verification, consolidated with client and in-house team. Process-based quality assurance and deployment.

The Terraces Lounge had some browser offset and JavaScript pulldown problems when it got to our building team. I fixed the browser offset, JavaScript pulldown bugs, reconstructed some tables, quality-assured and redeployed the site.

Quality assurance tested and verified the Japan Regional Site for charset rendering on 8 platforms/browsers. I managed the regional site as part of BA’s 41 regional sites.

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES

I spent 15 hours toward building presentation pages for client review, quality tested on 9 platforms/browsers, fixed HTML bugs, coordinated with designers for graphics, and ran a final quality test prior to deployment.

IN-FLIGHT ENTERTAINMENT

Received work from the UK office and spent 10 hours testing and quality assuring that BA branding, standards, and specifications were adhered to. Tetranet linkbot and Astra Site Manager were used to run reports and an a final test on two servers prior to publishing the files.

I spent 10 hours on 15-20 existing page impressions for the London Destination section of the website. Working in a production team, I consolidated production assets, updated files and coded for additional elements. I also quality-assured and deployed the subsection upon completion.
